Mistake #1: Unresolved credit issues

Resolving outstanding credit issues is required prior to purchasing a home. It is important to remove any financial liabilities that you may have now so they do not take away from the money needed to operate and maintain your home.

Don't forget that your home is a working asset. Paying your monthly mortgage on time and doing regular maintenance must be a priority for you.
